Volunteer House Build! Join us as we gather to build a home for a Cambodian family in need.

House Build

Join us as we gather with our partner organization in Cambodia, Heartprint, to build a home for a Cambodian family in need. Volunteer service trips are the foundation of our organization.  These journeys provide a unique balance of direct service and cultural immersion, along with hands-on work. There are numerous opportunities to interact with villagers, visit monasteries and historical sites, embark on stunning hikes in and around temples, or just relax.

Upon your arrival on the 20th of November 2022, in Siem Reap, Cambodia, you’ll be met at the airport by the amazing folks at Heartprint and transported to our hotel. For the next 5 days, you’ll work to complete and then gift a home to a Cambodian family.

Following the house build, we will spend a couple of fun-filled days seeing the temples of Angkor, and eating some great food! Generally, we rise early one morning for a short bike ride to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat - an amazing experience. Visit the ancient Temples of Angkor, take a boat ride on the Tonle Sap, and ride in the back of an ox cart. At night, browse the night markets, watch a movie under the stars with the local kids, or enjoy a peaceful massage.

What to Expect

Volunteer activities include house, toilet and well building and possibly working on community-based health projects like hand hygiene, dental hygiene, and education and distribution of hygiene kits to young girls.  As part of the trip preparation, we provide you with resources about Cambodia’s history, culture, and way of life and it is our hope you go home to create awareness for Cambodians by sharing your experience of making a difference.
