How your money helps
All donations go directly to projects in cambodia. Everyone at kindredhouse is a volunteer and we give our time, energy and expertise without a salary.
2012 - 2017
chan sor health clinic - rural cambodia
Working in Chan Sor rural community, Kindredhouse, local leaders and medical personnel were able to accomplish goals set forth in a 5-year strategic plan. These goals impacted the community directly and indirectly. Improvements to the physical structure of health center and surrounding area contributed to the increased 'rating' of the hospital by the Cambodian government's Ministry of Health from a 'C' (subpar) to 'A' (excellent). Valuable and necessary upgrades such as electricity, medical equipment, medication, staff trainings and digitization of medical intake forms directly impact the community. Chan Sor Health Center serves 19 villages and approximately 14,000 community members. For more information about our work at Chan Sor, click here
2017 - Future
New focus and partnerships - health and hygiene
Your contributions directly benefit Cambodian families for whom toilets and wells significantly impact health and safety. Working in partnership with Heartprint, an Australian non-profit operating full-time in Cambodia, Kindredhouse has the opportunity to add a toilet and well to each house built for families in extreme need.
